A slew of GameCube games will receive achievements thanks to RetroAchievements and, of course, Dolphin. Come July 15, support for the Nintendo platform will go live. Not all games will come with support, of course, but a large range of games will see support out of the box.
Games like Twilight Princess, Viewtiful Joe, Chibi-Robo, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and so many more. Frankly, while there are plenty of people who don’t crave that feeling of 100%ing games or chasing achievements until there’s nothing left, we can’t just say that gaming hasn’t at least attempted to be more engaging with the inclusion of achievements or (in cases of dire need) challenges.

With the inclusion into Dolphin, this Wii emulator that has become almost synonymous with Nintendo emulation is one step closer to finding a means to forever keep games safe and preserved, while also shaking things up just enough to keep a newer generation keeping their eye on even older games running on the software.
